For all the comments details poor service and/or poor food, get over yourself. It's a dive bar in DC with probably the cheapest food and drinks for blocks in any direction. Yea, the bartender is probably going to raise their voice at patrons, so what. That's part of the experience. The first couple weeks I started adding this place into my rotation, there wasn't soap in either lavatory. That's part of the ambiance, it's gritty and a little unpleasant. Places like Nanny's exists because there are locals who aren't looking to spend an arm and a leg on getting drunk.

The chili Mac never disappoints. I don't drink but the bar tenders keep my coke topped off, great service . It's an Irish bar. I should be back for the Notre Dame VS army game in November.

I really like Nanny's. Definitely a place to grab a bite with friends or have a drink and watch the soccer or softball game. Definitely an Irish pub with Guinness and Smithwicks. I was just enjoying a Natty Boh watching the girls college softball. I have had the wings, pretty good and the burgers are fine. Definitely will repeat.

Nice dive bar up by the zoo! It's a very chill spot but has lots of seating (a very cute window spot) and is a great place to go watch sports or to go if you have a bigger group. They have cheap beer but also good draft options. We got a bucket of coors banquet for $16, and you get five of them so pretty killer deal. For sure a no frill place but our bartender was lovely and very attentive! Great spot to stop by if you're in the area or looking for a place to watch sports.

Alot of locals go here. One of my best friends lives near here and introduced it to me years ago. Ever since whenever I am in town we usually end up here. They have a few tvs and good bar food. Nice selection of beers as well.
